Mad For Chicken East Meadow: Reviews & Ratings
Came here for lunch on a Monday afternoon ESPN was on the TV. People were eating lunch and they seemed to be enjoying their meal. Service was fast. Staff was very nice. The food was pretty good and I’ve been to several locations in Queens and in Plainview Long Island. Reasonably priced. Card payments are accepted. Give this place a try if you’re in the area. We will definitely be going back.
recently visited Mad For Chicken in East Meadow and it did not disappoint! If you love crispy, flavorful chicken, this place is a must. The vibe was casual but fun — great for hanging out with friends or a relaxed family meal. Service was quick and friendly, and the portions were generous for the price.
Absolutely the best fried chicken I’ve ever had—hands down. The chicken was unbelievably crispy on the outside, yet incredibly juicy and tender on the inside. Whether you’re a fan of classic styles or sauced-up varieties, this place nails it. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend to any fried chicken lover!
Halal Korean food. Perfectly crispy flavorful fried chicken. Yummy kimchi fries. Delicious mac and cheese with bulgogi. The bulgogi bowl was also good. Would get everything again, though not the corn salad side, which was just okay. My elderly mom who hates almost every restaurant no matter how good, loved the food, especially the fried chicken. The staff were super nice. Dining in was really comfy and nice with four big screens showing different sports.
Best Korean fried chicken!!! I’ve been to the Flushing and Bayside locations and was craving this the other day, so we got takeout. Food slapped and the service was great! Def recommend the soy garlic and tteokbokki, mac and cheese was alright but it was kinda small. Already thinking about the next time I go back
We had a takeout order but from what we saw, the dining area. looked clean. It's a very casual type of place, but it's cute. It was pretty crowded when we went to place our order and take it out. So we were not feeling sitting in the dining room. It was packed. We ordered the half-and-half, which is half mild, half spicy dumplings, and they were all pretty spicy but good. We ordered the glass noodles with the beef. And we got one very spicy and the other not spicy, and they were pretty good. We ordered the truffle parmesan fries, which were okay, but I've definitely had better. The guy at the counter was very helpful and was managing the confusion very well and still was able to advise us on our ordering since it was the first time we ever placed an order there. The chicken tenders were very good. Actually, the best quality chicken tenders we have ever had. The food was definitely different and many aspects of the meal were very good. So we will go back and order again from there. I recommend trying this place to see for yourself.
We went in for an early lunch around 11 am. We had been wanting to go to try some halal korean food for long. They do have halal certifications on their wall, but they also serve alcohol there. We asked the attendant, and he confirmed that they do serve alcohol but they make sure not to contaminate the rest. Its a full service restaurant. We ordered: 1. Crazy nachos 6/10 2. Bulgogi over rice 9/10 3. Korean fried chicken drumsticks and thighs (sweet chili) 6/10 4. Crispy chicken burger 7/10 5. Strawberry lychee tea without boba Crazy nachos were good, but i think for $20 its bit expensive as there were too many chips with not enough toppings. We didn't want to go with super spicy, so we ordered spice level 2 sweet chili fried chicken. We think it's more on the sweeter side than chilies as being on level 2 there should have been a little tiny kick. We did request them to give us some mango habenero sauce on the side. He was kind enough to serve some. It tasted well and had that spice kick. Fried chicken was crispy, crunchy, and juicy. Bulgogi over rice was our favorite. Beef was well cooked and well seasoned. It was missing the egg on top. We didnt realize until later. Crispy chicken sandwich was nothing crazy but good. Fries tasted fresh. Strawberry lychee tea was good. Loved the way they serve it. As we were one of 1st customers of the day, the attendant said he won't be able to add bobba as it takes some time to prepare it. Which worked for us as we are not a big fan of it anyway. The attendant was friendly. The restaurant was clean. The Washroom was a bit old and not super tidy. He mentioned the wait time for food would be 20 to 25 minutes, but I think we got all a little earlier. So overall, it was a good experience.
Came here with high hopes because we love the flushing location. Food was satisfactory the kimchi fries were the best, service was subpar the guy seemed like he really didnt want to be working and wasn’t attentive but he was kind. Overall an average experience, better atmosphere at Flushing but this will satisfy a craving.
